these days, we notice a lot of college events here in our stores, and we've introduced a new eye on the campus. it is been wildly successful and popular, and definitely, all age groups, everybody loves coffee. >> and it comes in all
different varieties, and i want to talk about the differences between some of these fridays. a hot brew coffee, that is the one that everybody knows? >> absolutely. so, a hot brew coffee is a medium ground coffee, brewed with hot water, just straight
into a pot. it is filtered with just a regular pill paper filter, usually served summer close to 198 202 degrees. >> and how long does it take to brew? >> it takes between seven and 10 minutes to brew, but not
that long. >> that is why if you needed in the morning, you can turn on the coffee pot? >> now, moving to cold brew so there's quite a difference between the two? so, cold brew is kind of a new innovation in the coffee
industry, definitely new and popular. cold brew iced coffee is an iced coffee that is not heated. so, course ground beans, we use a warm wind here at rise-up >> i was going to ask about the coffee beans, are they the same in each type of coffee?
>> for our hot coffee is, for the house roast and a seasonal, seasonal roast, right now it is our migration which is a heirloom nicaragua theme, a friend of ours is a former of those beings. all of our beings here at rise-up coffee are organic and
fair trade certified. >> but with the cold brew, it's cool? you actually infuse it with nitrogen as well? we use our cold brew, and we have a system that infuses it with nitrogen, and it actually gives you a nice creamy tasting
coffee without adding cream. >> so, this is a cold brew with the nitrogen, and i can tell the difference. again, not a coffee drinker, but a different level of creaminess. so how long does it take to brew cold brew versus the
hopper? >> hopper is very quick. it takes seven to 10 minutes to brew a pot of hot coffee, and the cold brew takes more than
