so i'm using two yellow superhots for this batch of hot popcorn cutting in to thin slices that seems to help distribute the heat and flavor better you can use more or less peppers depending on
popcorn popper for roasting coffee, your desired level of heat so now we're moving the popcorn cart to a safe location away from people to an area that ventilates to the outside
and we use one cup of kernels for a full batch of popcorn and three tablespoons of high temp oil this is artificially flavored butter oil but canola or vegetable oil or similar will work fine so i'm going to add the pepper slices to the oil and switch it on and
we usually preheat the peppers a little bit before adding the kernels till it starts to sizzle a little, but you can add them really at any time just try to distribute the kernels as evenly as you can and see where it's starting to smoke a little bit there don't worry about the kernels on the side, they'll be okay you do want to go ahead and put the lid on and this gets hot pretty quickly you can already see the steam building up
and one thing we didn't do that we need to is remove the lid that's important and now we pretty much let it go it doesn't take very long at all we just switched on our ventilation system so
this is venting upward to the outside you definitely don't want to breath the vapor that's coming out of this
yeah so we just sit back and wait and it should be done in just a moment
